Yarn Jam Trunk Show

The Craft Room will be hosting Yarn Jam for a trunk show! Yarn Jam is a family business based in Northern Virginia. Trisha is a retired graphic designer, turned indie dyer. She has been knitting for over 20 years and can’t believe that she has the opportunity to make “knitting her job.” Yarn Jam’s specialty is Shaniko wool! Shaniko is a cross breed of U.S. Merino and Rambouillet sheep, resulting in the most amazingly soft, plump and bouncy NSW yarn and combed top you can imagine! One of their goals is always to offer unique items in their shop. The Natural Sport and Natural DK (shaniko) yarns pair beautifully with handspun. The Shaniko bases are 100% U.S. grown and milled. On top of this, they always offer additional bases that are seasonally appropriate blends of fiber, both as yarn and combed top.
